The process of refacing is pretty straight forward. Your old cabinet doors and drawers are removed. If your drawer boxes are in good shape, they are reused. The “faces” and exposed sides of your cabinets are covered or refaced to match your new doors and drawer fronts. You typically replace your hardware (hinges and drawer/door knobs & pulls) unless your existing hardware is in good condition and you wish you reuse it. New door/drawer pulls & knobs will really add to the project’s fresh new look and appeal. For most typical projects, installation takes about one week.
