Kitchen & Bathroom Cabinetry: Let’s reface!
At CabinetPRO, Inc. we specialize in complete kitchen and bathroom remodeling. We offer both new kitchen and bath cabinetry, however we also specialize in refacing your existing cabinets. We have been doing kitchen and bathroom remodeling for over 29 years. As an alternative to purchasing an entire new kitchen, you can give your kitchen a new, fresh look by refacing your cabinetry which can save a great deal of money and time. If your existing cabinets are in good condition why get rid of them? Refacing is a great way to eliminate waste in your remodeling project which is a great way to be “green”.
Most kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects are inspired by the need for a new look. If you know your cabinets are in good condition, refacing is a great option. When you reface you have the option of choosing a new wood species, a wood stain color, a wood glaze color, and a door style. The sky is the limit. You can do something similar to your existing space or you can make a change to a brand new look.
The process of refacing is pretty straight forward. Your old cabinet doors and drawers are removed. If your drawer boxes are in good shape, they are reused. The “faces” and exposed sides of your cabinets are covered or refaced to match your new doors and drawer fronts. You typically replace your hardware (hinges and drawer/door knobs & pulls) unless your existing hardware is in good condition and you wish you reuse it. New door/drawer pulls & knobs will really add to the project’s fresh new look and appeal. For most typical projects, installation takes about one week. This is very appealing to most people who consider doing a complete kitchen remodel with new cabinetry that could take months.
Feel free to get in touch with us with any questions you may have about refacing your existing cabinetry or if you have any about new cabinetry. We love doing entire projects, we don’t have to stop at your cabinetry! We love to problem solve and are excited to work on your project no matter how big or small.
